Discover the Dinosaure Parc at Azur in the Landes region of France<\/h2>\n

At Azur-Lac above the Etang de Soustons<\/a>, just a stone’s throw from our campsite in the Landes<\/a>, Dinosaures Parc plunges the Landes forest tens of millions of years into the world of prehistoric giants.
\nThe park takes you on a timeless journey through life-sized reproductions of the dinosaurs that populated the earth during the Cretaceous and Jurassic eras.<\/p>\n

The site also offers a wide range of dinosaur-themed attractions and activities that are both fun and educational.
\nAn open-air show is performed several times a day; children can try their hand at waking up a large herbivore; the cin\u00e9-dino features a documentary on the life and times of the dinosaurs.
\nAn educational archaeological dig site has been set up so that children can learn about digging techniques and discover buried fossils and bones for themselves. A large labyrinth is also set up on the site: you have to answer quizzes and riddles about dinosaurs to have a chance of getting out!<\/p>\n

Other fun activities include an electric quad bike circuit for children aged 5 to 12, and a set of giant inflatables for children aged 2 to 12.<\/p>\n

The park is located on Route du Pesquite in Azur-Lac. It’s open from April to September, daily from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm in July and August, and on weekends and public holidays from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm in April, May, June and September. Shows and events take place only in summer. Admission to the park, including access to games and entertainment, costs 10 euros per adult, 9 euros for children aged 5 to 12, and 8 euros for children aged 2 to 4.<\/p>\n

Indoor activities, cocooning and sport<\/h3>\n

Don’t be discouraged by the rain. Take advantage of the opportunity to discover the many indoor activities available in the Landes region:<\/p>\n

Royal Kids<\/a> leisure park in Mont-de-Marsan (1 hour’s drive from our campsite) and Plan\u00e8te n’Kids<\/a> in Tarnos (45 minutes from Moliets). These two indoor amusement parks offer activities for children: giant slides, trampolines, ball pools, arcade games).
\nspa and cocooning: the Landes region boasts numerous thermal baths and beauty salons with SPAs, so don’t forget them when it rains. There’s nothing like taking care of yourself and letting yourself be pampered!
\nif you’ve got kids, theEscape Game<\/a> in Soorts-Hossegor and theHill<\/a> golf center will delight them. Located 29 minutes from the village of Moliets, you’ll enjoy a pleasant day out with the whole family.<\/p>\n
