Discover the Landes region by strolling through the charming town of Moliets, enjoy the Moliets golf course<\/strong>the thermal waters of Dax, swim on the beach at Hossegor or at the Huchet current<\/strong>Visit the towns on the Landes coast, such as Mimizan, Vielle Saint Girons, Messanges, Vieux Boucau, stroll through the Landes forest, and venture out on the many cycle paths. The V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e crosses Brittany and follows the Atlantic to the Basque coast on a wild and invigorating route. How do I get to the V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e from the campsite?<\/h2>\n

The V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e<\/strong> is a cycle path that runs from Roscoff to Hendaye. The La V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e cycle route uses a variety of signposted routes from Roscoff to Hendaye: cycle paths, greenways, cycle trails and other low-traffic roads. It is signposted from Roscoff to Hendaye with the logo on the signs along the route. The V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e passes through Moliets to reach Messanges, Vieux-Boucau, Hossegor, L\u00e9on, Vielle-Saint-Girons, Lit-et-Mixe, Contis, etc. From the Les Cigales campsite, you can join the V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e via a network of secure cycle paths. In fact, the V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e takes in the Landes cycle paths, the pine forest and golf course of Moliets<\/strong>, and the villages of Messanges and Vieux-Boucau. It links up with the beautiful surfing beaches of Seignosse and Hossegor, and the lively port of Capbreton. Then there are the roads to Labenne, Tarnos, Boucau, the Adour and the Basque country. The route is a safe greenway for the whole family, very pleasant all year round, and shared with pedestrians.<\/p>\n

Where to rent a bike in Moliets<\/h2>\n

A network of cycle paths takes you through Europe’s largest pine forest,<\/strong> traditional villages and immense sand dunes. Cycling is the best way to discover the Landes! A wide range of itineraries are available, from sporting expeditions to family outings, always in the peace and quiet, away from cars and in the shade of the pines! In Moliets, 12 kilometers of paved bike paths wind through the forest.<\/p>\n

Around the ponds, several kilometers of signposted trails are ideal for mountain biking<\/strong>. The greenway stretches from Moliets to Labenne along forest roads, old railroad lines and river banks. Bicycles are available for hire within 300 meters of Les Cigales campsite in Moliets.<\/p>\n

To reserve your bikes, you can either do so via our websites, or come and meet them directly in their stores to get the best advice. Rental periods range from \u00bd day to 3 weeks. There’s plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely stroll along the V\u00e9lodyss\u00e9e, which can be reached from several towns along the coast, or to lose yourself in our immense forests for a calmer, cooler moment.<\/p>\n
